Engagement Session @ Tallmadge Meadows

I had the pleasure of doing a one-of-a-kind engagement session for a super fun family. Check out some of my favourites from the day! The weather cooperated SO WELL. I’m so excited by how these turned out.

Bark in the Park 2019

This year, for Bark in the Park, I setup shop and offered free dog portraits. The turnout was incredible- a solid line for 5 and a half hours (the event was only 4 hours long…).

Here are some of my favourites.

Congratulation to Issac Samodell!

First United Methodist Church of Ravenna

Today I had the pleasure of attending a good family friend’s Eagle Court of Honor- the highest award of the Boy Scouts of America. I had the pleasure of seeing some old friends and leaders from my time in scouting, as well as shaking the hand of the newest Eagle Scout in the world.

Isaac Is a phenomenal young man, a true leader, and well revered by his colleagues and friends. His project included repairs, improvements, and new construction of benches at the local cemetery. As with everyone in attendance, we are incredibly proud of his work and growth with Troop 259 out of Brimfield, OH. I’m nostalgic, and proud to say that Isaac got his start at Troop 552, a troop that I helped bring out of retirement as a young scout myself.

I hope you’ll enjoy these photos, and join me in congratulating him on his accomplishment!

Found Photos

I've been shooting photos since I got my first camera at 16. I still have the old Compact Flash card that I started with- a whole 1 GB of memory! May not seem like a lot, but when you're working with 5.1 megapixels of compressed JPG files, it actually stored quite enough.

While I no longer own a CF reader, my next camera used the standard SD memory cards. I still have them all. Many are nearly broken, some won't read anymore. But I got lucky with some of them. Most of them are 4GB of memory, storing photos from the Canon 40D and after.

Today, I went through those cards, picking a selection of photos to give a second look. Over the years, my editing style has changed, so It's always a fun exercise to go back to these old raw files and redo the processing.

In this post, I'm going to be sharing a few of my favourites from today from multiple, odd shoots. Hope you enjoy!
